Multidimensional Reports
Multidimensional report (MD report) allows you to pivot all data presented in the system using dimensions and their attributes as filters, rows and columns.
The Multidimensional report can be accessed via the Reports area on the user's Homepage or via the Reports menu section.
When you open the report, a blank layout or a previously saved layout will be displayed depending on the user's settings.
Report Structure
Multidimensional report layout is fully configured by users.
To proceed with report configuration:
- Select at least one budget form.
- Click Show settings in the upper part of the window if settings are hidden.

Before at least one form is selected, the settings remain empty.
After at least one form is selected, the following settings sections become available:
| Section | Description |
|---|---|
| Filters | Intended for filtering report data. Use this section when filters are required for dimensions or attributes that are not allocated to rows or columns. |
| Table: Rows | Dimensions or attributes displayed as rows in the hierarchy. At least one dimension or attribute must be allocated. |
| Table: Columns | Dimensions or attributes displayed as columns in the hierarchy. At least one dimension or attribute must be allocated. |
| Available Dimensions | All dimensions assigned to at least one selected budget form. |
| Available Attributes | Attributes of dimensions displayed in the Available Dimensions section. Attributes with Data Type equal to String, Number, or Date cannot be used in MD reports. |

To create a report layout, allocate required dimensions or attributes from Available Dimensions or Available Attributes to Filters, Rows, or Columns.
Unlike Input Forms, it is not necessary to allocate all available dimensions and attributes.

- Select a dimension or attribute.
- Drag and drop it to the required report section:
- Filters
- Rows
- Columns
Alternatively:
- Double-click a dimension or attribute in an Available section.
- The item is automatically allocated to Filters.

Notes
[!NOTE] Selecting specific elements or folders is optional for dimensions located in Filters, Rows, and Columns.
[!NOTE] If a dimension is located in Filters and no elements are selected, the report displays aggregated data for all elements of that dimension.
[!NOTE] If a dimension remains in Available sections, the report displays aggregated data for all elements of that dimension.
Report Additional Settings
The system provides the following additional settings:
- Show or hide folders
- Currency presentation
- Totals presentation
Show or Hide Folders
To show or hide folders for a dimension:
- Check or uncheck the Show folders option.

Currency
The Currency parameter defines whether data is displayed in:
- Input Currency
- Functional Currency
To change the parameter:
- Select one option from the drop-down list:
- Input Currency — data is displayed in input currency.
- Functional Currency — data is displayed in functional currency.

Notes
[!NOTE] Data in functional currency is displayed only when the Currency dimension is assigned to the selected source forms.
[!NOTE] Data must already be converted to functional currency in the source forms or imported into them. The report does not perform additional currency conversion.
Totals
Totals can be displayed in rows and columns.
To enable totals:
- Select:
- Totals: Rows
- Totals: Columns
as required.

Drill Down Report Data
The system provides a two-step drill-down process that allows tracing how a value was generated.
Step 1
Multidimensional Drill-Down
To open drill-down details:
- Right-click a numeric value (detail or summary).
- Select Multidimensional Drill-down from the context menu.

Alternatively:
- Double-click the numeric value.

One Dimensional Drill-Down
- Right-click a numeric value.
- Select One Dimensional Drill-down.

Step 2
- Move the mouse cursor over a value at the most detailed level.
- Double-click the value.

The appearance of the drill-down report depends on the item mode:
- Manual Data Entry Log
- Calculated Data
- Imported Data from External Database
It is possible to navigate to the source document in the external database through the web client only.
Managing Report Layouts
The standard Layout Management System is used for maintaining MD Report layouts.
When an MD Report is opened for the first time, one of the following layouts can be loaded:
Global Default Layout
A layout previously configured as the global default.
Users can use it as is or modify it.
Blank Layout
Displayed when no default layout has been configured.
In this case, the report structure must be configured before generating the report.
Users can define any previously saved layout as the default layout for future use.
For details about layout management, refer to the Layout Management System documentation.
