As a result, the spreadsheet will be generated based on set layout.
If you distributed at least one dimension to the subtable, there are two tables displayed: main table and subtable.
Subtable is the detailed spreadsheet for each cell of the main table, then data should be entered into it.

If you distributed all dimensions to the main table only, there is only one table displayed. Then data should be entered into it.

If you change the layout somehow or load a different layout you need to click Data Entry button again to affect the input form appearance.
Managing Input Forms Buttons
Managing Input forms buttons are located in the top section of Input form.
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Data entry | Allows to reload the spreadsheet, for example, when changing the layout. |
| Calculate data | Allows to calculate data within Input form. |
| Save and exit form | Allows to save changes and close the Input form. |

[!NOTE] The cells available for manual data entry are marked with a purple colour. If the cell is white, it is read-only for one of the following reasons:
- Cell contains aggregated data (e.g. by other dimensions).
- Data in this cell is calculated automatically or imported from external database.
- Data in this cell is already submitted by responsible user.
- Current user doesn’t have rights to edit cell value.
- Data cannot be entered to the folder lines and lines aggregated by another dimension.
It is possible to enter not only numbers into cells, but also to use the calculator embedded into the Input form.

When using a two-table view, data is entered only in a Subtable.

Input Mode
Two input modes are used in the NeoPlan system:
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Multidimensional table | The input form contains all possible combinations of dimensions elements. |
| One Dimensional table | The table does not contain all possible combinations of dimensions elements and assumes selection of particular elements during the populating process. |
Multidimensional Table
Multidimensional input form contains all possible combinations of dimensions elements that are accessible to current user.
Adding new budget lines is not available in this mode.
To adjust or input new data simply double-click the cell and enter value.
One Dimensional Table
If the main table or subtable is one dimensional it contains only lines with data to reduce the number of displayed budget lines.
There are two ways to enter data in this mode:
- Adjust already displayed data by double-clicking the cell and entering a value.
- Add data for a combination of dimensions elements that is not yet displayed by adding a new line.
Add a new line
- Click Add button above the table.
[!TODO] Screenshot required Original caption: Figure 6.11. Add line into One Dimensional Subtable
- Double-click in the new line first cell and select element from the list.
[!TODO] Screenshot required Original caption: Figure 6.12. Choose dimensional value
- Repeat the previous step for all dimensions.
[!NOTE] All dimensions elements have to be selected.
- After the selection is finished the value cells will become editable.
- Enter values into the cells.
- Repeat the steps for adding and populating lines as many times as required.
[!NOTE]
- All columns that imply entering dimension values must be filled in strictly from left to right.
- If all dimension values are not filled in by line, the data entering cells will be blocked.
- It is forbidden to duplicate combinations of dimensions elements in different lines. Adjust data in already existing lines.
Copy and Paste
Copy data

Data can be pasted only into cells available for manual input.
If you copy a cell range, the source range should fit the target range.
Examples:
- 2×2 range can be pasted into 2×2, 2×4, 4×4.
- 2×2 range cannot be pasted into 3×3.
When you finish entering data click Save or Save and exit form button in the toolbar.
